Chronicles from vet uni:
I’m gonna sum up the situation to show how fucking stressful can be the vet student’s life.
The next Friday I have a Microbiology exam which is not very difficult, but its agenda is pretty long. The following Monday I have the Physiology exam which (I can already say) I’m gonna fail: 200 pages (cardiovascular, respiratory and endocrinology) to study; the test is 100 questions true/false where one wrong discounts one done right and teacher says that to answer we’ll have to “integrate all knowledge of the subject” what means that nobody will pass it.
The most amazing fact is that the Physio exam’s week, I have to have done three reports: one of microbiology, another of epidemiology and the last one is about solving (theorically) a real clincal case for physiology.
That’s a mount of work but not impossible to do. The difficulty of all this is: I have practicals all mornings and classes all evenings, so I almost dont have time to sleep and eat (and watch homeland), and now I have to do all this!! (Well, I already started studying physio a bit but nothing more because of the time). Aaaaaaaah!
Well, you see little kids, when people say that vet school is easy and cute and pretty and relaxing: DO NOT TRUST THEM!!
